Dubbo City Regional Airport
Dubbo City Regional Airport is located five kilometres North West of Dubbo on the Mitchell Highway.
Serviced by Regional Express and Eastern Australian Airlines (QantasLink), the Airport provides regional passenger transport services between Dubbo, and Sydney.
Dubbo City Regional Airport is one of the leading regional airports in Australia with 142 Regular Public Transport (RPT) flights per week operating to and from the Airport, as well as charter flights, general aviation flight training and airfreight operations.
In 2011/2012, more than 170,000 passengers passed through Dubbo City Regional Airport.
The Airport is operated and maintained by Dubbo City Council in conjunction with the RPT Airlines under regulations set by Air services Australia and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

Latest developments at Dubbo City Airport
DCRA General Aviation Area
DCRA is currently in the developing a new general aviation area worth $500,000. The area is designed to cater for new private and industrial hanger spaces, as well as an area set aside for the Rural Fire Service Air base. A new Taxi-lane is also being constructed to connect this area with the rest of the airport. It is anticipated that the new development will be available in the 2012/13 financial year.

DCRA Secure Car Park
Features of the secure car park include:
• A total of 87 car spaces (including two disabled spaces) and two motorcycle spaces, with 66 spaces under shade.
• A 2.4 metre high perimeter fence
• Automated pedestrian gates
• Single entry and exit gates for vehicles
• Surveillance by CCTV and security patrols
The secure parking area operates via a ticketed scheme at a cost of $9 per day or $54 per week.
The secure parking ticketing system will allow users to either:
• Gain a ticket at the entry gate and pay for parking upon return from a kiosk located in the airport terminal by cash or credit card
• Use a credit card at the entry gate ticket dispenser on arrival and use the same card upon returning to the car park. This means your credit card becomes your ticket.

Flight Information Display System Installed
Dubbo City Regional Airport recently installed a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) to assist the public in obtaining up-to-date flight information. LCD screens have been installed at the airport to show arrival and departure times to the travelling public, friends and relatives. The information provided on these screens at the airport is also available on the web at www.dubboairport.com so people can obtain live information from their computer at the office, at home or any mobile device able to view the web.
