Feedback about the Program
"It was a truly amazing experience. I got to experience such a great culture with an even better group of people. The Japanese people were so warm and welcoming and I didn't want to leave. ;Going to the schools and temples around Minokamo was such a culture shock and I am confident in saying I will never forget it." — Jennifer George, student
"The whole experience in being a chaperone from the language and cultural lessons to returning back to Australia was an unforgettable educational experience.
On arrive to Japan everyone was welcoming, despite the language difference, I was able to learn and enjoy the cultural lessons from making paper to drinking green tea with a high ranked Monk at a Buddhist education university.
Minokamo was a country town, however the people and the location made me feel at home. The kids made the experience all that more enjoyable as they were easy to get along with and excited about every new thing that opened their senses." — Tom Brain, 2015 chaperone Minokamo Exchange.
