The City has just opened the Dubbo Skate Park, featuring Australia’s first ‘full pipe’ as well as a BMX track.

Victoria Park Velodrome

The sealed velodrome around Victoria Park No. 1 Oval is used weekly during the warmer months by the Dubbo Cycle Club for weekly track racing and is also available for use as a safe off road training venue.

Road Cycling

Road Cycling in Dubbo is conducted by two clubs, Dubbo Cycle Club and Orana Veterans Cycling Club. The Dubbo Cycle Club runs their race season during the cooler months and the Veterans race year round. Both clubs race on a range of circuits throughout the district.

Bike Lockers now available

Storage lockers are now available at two sites in Dubbo for the convenience of cyclists in the City. A bank of four lockers is situated at Macquarie Regional Library while eight lockers have been constructed at the Church St carpark (behind Myer).

Bikes can either be stored on a casual or long-term basis. The new lockers will be assigned on a first-come/first-served basis for a period of up to three months, with the storage area large enough to fit a bicycle and rider accessories. The units have been painted dark green to blend in with the surroundings.
