Sporting clubs and schools are well catered for in Dubbo, which boasts a range of top quality sporting facilities and more than 20 sporting fields.

| Cricket | Seven turf wicket tables capable of providing a total of 27 turf playing surfaces and 18 concrete playing strips (15 of which are permanently bonded synthetic wickets. | Dubbo City Council also provides cricket practice facilities at Pioneer Park, Lady Cutler Ovals, South Dubbo Oval, Bob Dowling Fields and Spears Drive Park). A total of 15 practice nets are available. |
