Dubbo is a major sporting influence in Western NSW and Council ensures the City’s major sporting grounds include modern facilities and are maintained to a high standard.
Sport in the Dubbo community is as popular as ever, with people of all ages enjoying the benefits.
Dubbo is well catered for with more than 82.55 hectares of public open space reserved for active recreation such as cricket, football, netball, swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis and hockey.
The principle venues for major sporting events are Victoria Park No 1 Oval, Apex Oval/East Dubbo Sporting Complex, Barden Park and Riverbank Fields.
