Western Plains Cultural Centre

The $8.2 million Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC), opened in 2006, is managed and operated by Dubbo City Council.

It is located at 89 Wingewarra Street - the site of the old Dubbo High School, which was established in 1917 and operated until 2000.

The Outlook Cafe

The Outlook Cafe is open Wednesday to Monday between 8am and 5pm.

The Outlook Cafe offers a breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea and dinner menu and overlooks Victoria Park.

Dubbo Regional Gallery - The Armati Bequest

The Gallery features five exhibition spaces comprising of a Children’s Gallery, Project Gallery, Regional Art Space, Main Gallery and New Media Space.

Regularly changing exhibitions offer visitors a diversity of styles and themes, including painting, textiles, photography, drawings, installations and digital art, and highlight the cultural and artistic breadth of the region.

The Dubbo Regional Museum features a permanent exhibition space devoted to the Museum collection People Places Possessions: Dubbo Stories.

Dominated by a nine-tonne wool wagon and a re-constructed tree centrepiece, the exhibition relays the fascinating account of the people who shaped this City and region. The temporary museum exhibition space caters for touring museum exhibitions and in-house developed focus shows.

Community Arts Centre

The Community Arts Centre is available for community and corporate hire. It features meeting rooms, dark room, drama space and studios.

Each room is well maintained with secure entry, heating and cooling, ample parking, ease of access with ramps and a lift to the first floor, and kitchen facilities.
