Evocities

The four Evocities are Albury, Bathurst, Dubbo and Tamworth.

Evocities launched in September 2010 with the message that a move to an Evocity is a city change where a quality life awaits and a wide range of opportunities exist for personal and professional growth.

The campaign showcases the abundance of opportunities in these regional cities due to their lower cost of living, strong career and business opportunities and enhanced lifestyle. Living in an Evocity means less time commuting, working and stressing, and more time for you and your family to enjoy NSW’s beautiful natural surrounds.

The Evocities were selected for their:

  • Quality infrastructure
  • Positive population growth
  • Business numbers
  • House prices
  • Quality education
  • Excellent facilities (health, sporting, community etc.)
  • Culture and entertainment
  • Lifestyle offerings.

Since the campaign’s launch in 2010, Evocities has attracted more than 758,000 visits to Evocities.com.au and more than 2.72 million visits to evojobs.com.au and had over 4,100 households move to one of the Evocities.

The campaign is collectively funded by the four Councils from the participating Cities and has previously been the recipient of Australian and NSW government funding and corporate sponsorship.
