Dubbo Day Awards

The Dubbo Day Awards will be presented on Tuesday 23 November 2021 to mark the anniversary of Dubbo’s gazettal as a Village on 23 November 1849, and to recognise volunteers who have, and will continue to be, the building blocks of the community.

Volunteers who, without expectation of reward or praise, go about their lives helping others and organisations which are focused on improving the quality of living for individuals and the community as a whole. A selection committee comprising the Mayor and members of the Dubbo community will assess all nominations in strict confidence.

Nominations will close 5pm Friday 29 October 2021.

Award recipients are selected from the Nominees by a Committee of community members and the Mayor. Committee members are all past recipients of the Dubbo Day Awards.

Nominations for the Tony McGrane Public Service Award are closed to the public, nominees are determined and awarded by the Committee.

The Dubbo Day Awards Ceremony is on 23 November 2021, venue and time to be advised.
