Financial Assistance Grants

Dubbo Regional Council will be entering a caretaker period from 5 November 2021, prior to Local Government Elections.

During caretaker period, there will not be an elected body that can deliberate on grant applications.  Therefore, opening of Financial Assistance Round One 2021/2022 will be postponed until early 2022.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - NOW CLOSED

Dubbo Regional Council invited eligible community organisations to take advantage of its Financial Assistance Program and apply for a share in $15,000, during 2021/2022 Round One.

To be successful, applicants must meet criteria based on merit and benefits for the community and be based in the Dubbo Regional Council local government area, or deliver a service/activity in the local government area. 

Council’s Liveability Manager Community Services, John Watts, said that previous recipients included charitable, health, animal wellbeing, and environmental organisations, as well as special interest groups. 

“Council dedicates $30,000 to the Community Financial Assistance Program each year to help ease the burden of not-for-profit organisations that contribute to our community,” Mr Watts said.
