EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND [EDF]

Dubbo Regional Council provides two channels for events to apply for funding. The Event Development Fund aims to assist, build and grow local events and aid in creating a robust and sustainable events industry.

STREAM ONE | $3,000 OR LESS

FUNDING STREAM IS NOW CLOSED

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020 are eligible to apply. Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines prior to applying for funding.

STREAM TWO | $3,001 OR MORE

FUNDING STREAM IS NOW CLOSED

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2020 are eligible to apply. Applicant must demonstrate capacity to develop and build a sustainable event. Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines prior to applying for funding. 


Please note that if you are successful in applying for funding through the Event Development Fund, there are a number of benefits that are required to be returned to Dubbo Regional Council. These benefits are to be returned in commensurate with the amount received.

Acquittal forms are required from all events receiving funding.
Acquittal Form A – For events receiving $5,000 or less (PDF 817.1KB)
Acquittal Form B – For events receiving $5,001 or more (PDF 871.1KB)
It is the responsibility of the event owner to return the appropriate form 60 days from the conclusion of the event, or before the end of the financial year, which ever falls first.
