Stronger Communities Fund - Community Grants: Round 1

Dubbo Regional Council allocated grants totalling $349,580 for 23 projects across the Dubbo Regional Local Government Area under Round 1 of the Community Grant Program in 2016-17.

The successful projects that received funding were:

 6 Wellington Junior Soccer Club Inc. Upgrade toilet facilities at Pioneer Park and purchase portable goal posts.  $16,200
 7 Emmanuel Care Inc. Buninyong Conservational English Playgroup $7,500
 8 Wellington Amateur Theatrical Society Inc. Upgrade wireless equipment and purchase of six metal clothing racks. $10,580
 9 Stuart Town Advancement Association Inc. Construction of an open air stage at Moxon Park. $22,328
 10 Dubbo Rescue Squad Inc. Replacement of tools and equipment $6,500
 11 Wellington Amateur Swimming Club Purchase timing equipment $15,293
