Community Financial Assistance Program

Dubbo Regional Council invites eligible community organisations to take advantage of its Financial Assistance Program and apply for a share in $15,000.

To be successful, applicants must meet criteria based on merit and benefits to the community and be based in Dubbo Regional Council Local Government area or deliver a service or activity in Local Government area.

Council’s Community Services Manager Business Support Jamie Angus said previous recipients included charitable, health, animal wellbeing, and environmental organisations, as well as special interest groups.

“Council dedicates $30,000 to the Community Financial Assistance Program each year to help ease the burden of not-for-profit organisations that contribute to our community,” Mr Angus said.

This is the first round of funding Council has to offer for the 2017-2018 financial year.

Applications open 3 July 2017 and close 5pm, Friday 4 August 2017. Successful applicants will be determined by Council at its meeting on Monday, 28 August 2017.

Application forms are available at Council’s Customer Service Centre on the corner of Church and Darling Streets, Dubbo and at the Wellington office, corner Nanima Crescent and Warne Street, Wellington.
