Event Funding

 

Dubbo Regional Council provides two channels for events to apply for funding: 

Event Development Fund (Stream 1 and Stream 2) [financial assistance only]
Intent:  to help build and grow a robust and sustainable events industry 

Major Event Sponsor Program (Stream 1 and Stream 2) [in-kind services only]
Intent:  to drive visitor spend and economic growth

Events must be not-for-profit and held in the Local Government Area.
Prior to applying for funding please refer to the eligibility criteria and guidelines for each channel of funding.

EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND [EDF]

Stream 1:   Up to $1,000 - applications open now until 30 June 2019

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 are eligible to apply.
Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.
Applications open 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

STREAM 2:  OVER $1,001 - applications now closed

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 201 are eligible to apply. 
Applicant must demonstrate capacity to develop and build a sustainable event.
Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding. 
Applications now closed, re-opening September 2018.

MAJOR EVENT SPONSOR PROGRAM [MESP]

stream 1:  up to $2,000 - applications open now until 30 June 2019

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 are eligible to apply.
Please ensure that your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.
Applications open 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

STREAM 2:  $2,001 OR MORE - applications now closed

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019 are eligible to apply.
Applicant must demonstrate capacity to deliver economic benefits to the Local Government Area.
Please ensure that your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.
Successful applicants ($2001 or more) will be required to enter into a Sponsorship Agreement. The Agreement will include a list of benefits commensurate with the level of funding provided (or as negotiated). 
NB:  Funding provided under the Major Event Sponsor Program cover in-kind support only.
