Event Funding

 

Dubbo Regional Council provides two channels for events to apply for funding: 

Event Development Fund (Stream 1 and Stream 2)
Intent:  To assist build and grow local events and aid in creating a robust and sustainable events industry.

Major Event Sponsor Program (Stream 1 and Stream 2)
Intent:  To deliver economic benefits to the region via the attraction and retention of major event activity.

Prior to applying for funding please refer to the eligibility criteria and guidelines for each channel of funding.

Please note that if you are successful in applying for funding under Stream 1 or Stream 2 of the Event Development Fund or Major Event Sponsor Program, there are a number of benefits that are required to be returned to Council. These benefits are to be returned in commensurate with the amount received. See guidelines above.

Acquittal forms are required from all events receiving funding:   

Acquittal Form A – For events receiving $5,000 or less (PDF 417KB)

Acquittal Form B – For events receiving $5,001 or more (PDF 415.1KB)

It is the responsibility of the event owner to return the appropriate form 60 days from the conclusion of the event, or before the end of the financial year, which ever falls first.

EVENT DEVELOPMENT FUND [EDF]

Stream 1: $3,000 or less - applications now open until 30 June 2019

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 are eligible to apply.
Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.

Applications open 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

EDF - Stream 1 Application Form (PDF 401KB)

STREAM 2: $3,001 or more - applications now open until 30 november 2018.

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019 are eligible to apply. 
Applicant must demonstrate capacity to develop and build a sustainable event.
Please ensure your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding. 

Applications open September 30 2018 to 30 November 2018.

MAJOR EVENT SPONSOR PROGRAM [MESP]

stream 1: $3,000 or less - applications now open until 30 June 2019

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019 are eligible to apply.
Please ensure that your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.

Applications open 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

STREAM 2:  $3,001 OR MORE - applications now open until 30 november 2018

Not-for-profit events held in the Local Government Area between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019 are eligible to apply.
Applicant must demonstrate capacity to deliver economic benefits to the Local Government Area.
Please ensure that your event complies with the eligibility criteria and guidelines (above) prior to applying for funding.

Applications open 30 September to 30 November 2018.
