Dubbo Regional Council, through the provision of the 2022-2025 Dubbo Regional Council Disability Inclusion Action Plan (PDF 2.3MB), is committed to striving for an inclusive society and advocating for equal rights for all within our communities.
In April 2018, Dubbo Regional Council '...committed to undertake the biggest upgrade of infrastructure for people with disability ever seen in our region. They want to make Dubbo Regional the most progressive council in NSW in the field of disability access.'

Facilitated by Dubbo Regional Council. Held bi-monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at the Wellington Senior Citizen Centre, 48 Swift Street Wellington.

Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) offer free, independent and confidential services that focus on supporting older people and their representatives to raise and address issues relating to accessing and interacting with Commonwealth funded aged care services.

The NSW Government has established the Ageing and Disability Commissioner to better protect adults with disability and older people from abuse, neglect and exploitation by someone they know in their home, or community.

Carer Gateway is for anyone who is a carer. You may be a carer if you are looking after someone with disability, mental illness, dementia, a long-term health condition, an illness that will cause their death, or an alcohol or drug problem, or someone who is frail because they are old.
