Dubbo Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival

Dubbo Regional Council is the organiser of the Dubbo Sustainable City Expo & Science Festival to be held on Saturday 25 August 2018 from 10am until 2pm at the Western Plains Cultural Centre.

The thirteenth (13th) annual Expo & Science Festival aims to provide information to the Dubbo and Wellington communities about how to live and work more sustainably; promote the wonders of science; and highlight how science can help to achieve a sustainable future.

Background Information

Starting as an information night in 2006 attracting 13 exhibitors and some 200 people, this Council initiative has grown into the Sustainable City Expo and Science Festival, an all-day event. The 2017 event was held in early September and showcased over 35 exhibitors, drawing a crowd of over 500 people to the Western Plains Cultural Centre.
