Buyers get in early on first day of Keswick Estate sale
There has been a huge amount of interest from buyers on the first day of Dubbo Regional Council’s sales campaign for the latest release of blocks in Keswick Estate.
The sale of 36 residential allotments as part of Keswick Estate Stage 4 Release 3A began at 9am on Monday, 17 October.
“We sold six lots on the morning of the first day of selling off the plan,” Council’s Manager Commercial Facilities Simon Tratt said.
“Buyers said they were keen to purchase in this part of Keswick Estate because of the proximity to services and the great value for money in the asking prices for the blocks.”
“In this release ten lots were earmarked for first homebuyers and Council is offering a $15,000 rebate on these specific lots.”
“Three of the blocks sold on Monday morning were to first home buyers who took advantage of this assistance offered by Council.”
The 10 selected ‘first home owner lots’ are being reserved only for first home buyers for the first two weeks of the sales campaign, from 17 – 30 October 2016. After 30 October any buyer may purchase any of the remaining 10 earmarked lots at their listed sale price.
“We have also received strong interest on other blocks and expect further sales very soon,” Mr Tratt added.
The price range for the remaining lots is $140,000 to $160,000.
