Cobbora and Boothenba roads reopened to all traffic
Dubbo Regional Council has completed works on a number of roads in the region which have now been reopened to all traffic.
“Council has completed repair work on the Cobbora Road (MR353), which had sustained flood damage, and it has now been reopened to all traffic,” Director Technical Services Ian Bailey said.
“There is still some minor work which will be done after Christmas but there will be no need for further road closures.
“The Dripstone Bridge on the Burrendong Way has also been completed and the new bridge was opened to traffic earlier this week and the temporary sidetrack removed.
“The Boothenba Road which was damaged during the flooding earlier this year has been repaired and the section east of Yarrandale Road which has been closed since September has now been reopened.
“Council crews are to be congratulated on the work that went into having these roads repaired and reopened in time for the holiday traffic.
“I would also like to thank the community for their patience as council carried out these critical works.”
