Official re-opening of Darling Street and re-dedication of Memorial Avenue trees

The official opening of the Darling Street redevelopment is scheduled for 10am Thursday 16 June at the intersection of Darling Street and Church Street (near the cenotaph).

The Darling Street Redevelopment is a significant project to renew aged infrastructure and create a functional street design that also improves traffic management, pedestrian and cyclist amenity.

The project has been part funded from the Roads to Recovery Program ($1.41m) with Council contributions ($2.55m) and NSW State Government Cycleway Funding ($110,000).

The ceremony will include the re-dedication of the Darling Street Memorial Avenue of Trees by Tom Gray, President of Dubbo RSL Sub-Branch.
