Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) has won the award for Economic Development Initiatives category in the 2019 National Economic Development Awards for Excellence.
1 Nov 2019   PROPOSED WATER USE CHANGES TO GO BEFORE COUNCILORS
With level four water restrictions due to come into effect this Friday, Dubbo Regional Council staff have prepared two reports which will be presented to councilors at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Monday 4 November, which propose some changes to how water is used in the LGA.
23 Oct 2019   NEW WELLINGTON AQUATIC AND LEISURE CENTRE OFFICIAL OPENING
The new-look Wellington Aquatic and Leisure Centre will open to the public with a free family fun day on Saturday, November 16, 2019. The open day, from 10am, will highlight the region’s redeveloped Aquatic Centre including a new eight-lane Olympic Pool, heated learn-to-swim pool, splash pad area, along with brand new amenities, kiosk and club room.

Dubbo Regional Council would like to ensure the community that instances of clouded water is safe to use and not related to water restrictions. Dubbo Regional Council’s Manager Water Supply and Sewerage, Stephen Carter said there is nothing for residents to worry about.
