Dubbo Regional Council held meetings of the Planning, Development and Environment Committee, and the Infrastructure, Community and Recreation Committee on Monday 9 August 2019. The meetings were chaired by Councillor Lawrence. Dubbo Regional Council held the meeting of Economic Development, Business and Corporate Committee chaired by Councillor Mohr.

9 Sep 2019   TREE PLANTING TO OFFSET ROAD WORKS AND RESTORE RIVER RED GUM CORRIDOR
Dubbo Regional Council will plant 1,100 endemic species, to help rejuvenate the riparian corridor within Regand Park. The park is adjacent to the Macquarie River. The planting is part of an environmental offset planting requirement from the recent work completed on the Old Mendooran Reconstruction Alignment project.

5 Sep 2019   NEW PLAYGROUND OPENS IN WELLINGTON
Mayor of the Dubbo Region Ben Shields will officially open the new playground at Bicentennial Park, Wellington. The new playground is situated on the South East corner of Bicentennial Park in Montefiores, Wellington which is frequented by many nearby residents with young families and local sporting clubs.
