Dubbo Regional Livestock Market Truck Wash
Summary: The installation of a new and improved truck wash at the live stock markets will increase the sites efficiency by decreasing waiting times allowing for more efficient movement of vehicles through the wash and back to work.
The project will include:

An additional wash bay

New pumps allowing a better and more constant supply of water pressure, allowing fast wash out

More slope to allow trucks to drain quicker allowing more complete and faster washout of trucks

Longer facility so operators are not working in the drainage area of truck wash

More efficient and effective lighting

Power post to be replaced with underground electricity on entry and exit to truck wash, enhancing safety

Screens between wash bays

Toilet and shower facility for personal hygiene

Screw press to reduce waste for better environmental outcomes

Replace failing pipework and cracking concrete

Cameras will be an added deterrent to unsafe behaviour and increase personal safety

A second on-site truck wash to include new drain and safety rail
