Rural Fire Service Aviation Centre of Excellence
Summary: NSW RFS have identified the opportunity to develop further within the existing NSW RFS Academy footprint at Dubbo City Regional Airport that has benefits for the local area and NSW, which also builds capacity of the airport as a centralised precinct for emergency services training.
The development of an additional building on site to house simulators for training of aviation personnel and potential for firefighting pilots to build experience, NSW RFS will be able to host personnel from all states and territories.
