Crash statistics

       

For the past decade, Dubbo has experienced a slight downward trend in crash statistics.  The following column graphs show that our overall crash rate is steadily decreasing despite random crash spikes.

Wellington has experienced a stable trend in overall crashes from 2005 to 2012 with a slight increase noted in 2013 and 2014.

Council's effective partnerships with local road safety stakeholders and the Roads and Maritime Services is an approach that is having a positive impact on driver behaviour.

Analysing crash data is an effective method that measures whether the community has been responsive to many road safety initiatives.

Council, Roads and Maritime Services, local road safety stakeholders and the community all have a role to play in reducing road-related trauma and fatalities on our local roads.
