A Temporary Road Closure of MacLeay Street will be in place from Wednesday 26 February to Monday 2 March as part of the Bourke Street stormwater, kerb and footpath reconstruction (western side) project works.

The project is aims to improve stormwater drainage, replace the old stormwater dish drain crossing, kerb and gutter. New concrete kerb ramps will be installed and asphalt footpaths replaced.

On-street parking will be restricted during the work, however, residents will be consulted before any reduced access. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained throughout the project and Council staff will assist pedestrians if required.

Council thanks residents for their understanding while these infrastructure improvement works are underway.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of March.

Residents with any questions can contact project engineer Terry Kavanagh during office hours on 6801 4000.
