Water Saving Action Plan

Under Level 3 Water Restrictions certain water users are required to prepare a Water Saving Action Plan (WSAP). The WSAP must be developed and submitted to Council for approval.

Under Level 4 Water Restrictions these WSAPs must be implemented.

Following the revision of the restrictions endorsed by Council on Monday 4th of November 2019. The top 100 commercial/institutional water users across the Dubbo Regional Local Government Area will be identified and contacted via letter about submitting a WSAP. Once the WSAP has been approved by Council, businesses will need to implement and comply with their WSAP.

Council encourages all businesses to review their activities and implement changes to improve water efficiencies.

Council will be monitoring water usage and site inspections will be conducted to ensure the approved WSAP has been implemented and complied with.
