As facility owner of Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets (DRLM), Dubbo Regional Council wants to ensure the safety of our visitors, employees and wider community, as we work through the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crises.

At this stage DRLM has continued to trade through the pandemic although under some trying conditions.

This site celebrated it's 70th anniversary and for the majority of that time we have been encouraging people to come but these are different circumstances. In line with industry protocols announced Tuesday 16 June 2020, vendors selling stock on the day and all buyers with a genuine intent to purchase can now attend sales under set conditions.

As a precaution we ask that only those conducting direct business at DRLM on the day attend sales. The facility remains closed to the general public. While dealing with the pandemic and changes to COVID-19 rules and guidelines, we ask that if possible children are not brought to the DRLM to assist all users in meeting physical distancing requirements.

All people attending DRLM must have completed the site induction (required prior to COVID and will continue after) and complete a COVID Safe Check-in using the Service NSW platform, the QR code is provided at various key locations around the site, preferred check-in area is outside the amenities block. Social distancing is still a requirement.

Livestock carriers are to leave the site once unloaded, out loading carriers are to stay at their truck until loading is commenced. If a carrier wishes to attend the sale as a vendor or buyer, then the same conditions detailed above comply. All carriers should already have completed the site induction.

If you are feeling unwell or if you have been asked to self-isolate due to potential exposure to COVID-19 you are not to enter Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets.

Dubbo Regional Council also asks any visitors to our facilities to follow the general health precautions of social distancing, washing your hands effectively, covering any sneezes and coughs and staying at home if unwell.
