Dubbo welcomes first Fly Corporate flights between Brisbane and Dubbo
Dubbo Regional Council will welcome the first passengers aboard Fly Corporate’s new service direct from Brisbane arriving at Dubbo City Regional Airport at 10am on Tuesday 7 August 2018.
Mayor of the Dubbo Region Councillor Ben Shields said the inaugural flight is an exciting time with holiday makers and business people again being able to choose to fly direct between Dubbo and Brisbane.
“With the start of Fly Corporate services to and from Brisbane next week Dubbo people are again able to book travel to and from Brisbane for business or leisure,” Councillor Shields said.
“There is no doubt the community value the direct access to Brisbane as it supports business opportunities, allows locals to visit friends and relatives for a short break or to connect with Brisbane services for a longer holiday,” he said.
“It also allows Dubbo to promote again its accessibility to drive business growth and encourage more visitation,” Councillor Shields said.
The inaugural Fly Corporate flight from Brisbane to Dubbo arrives at Dubbo City Regional Airport at 10am on Tuesday 7 August 2018.
The Mayor, Councillor Ben Shields, Chair of the Airport Committee Councillor Greg Mohr and Chief Executive Officer Michael McMahon and will be arriving with Fly Corporate representatives and other travellers to mark the inaugural flight.
Passengers will be greeted with a gift from the Dubbo region on arrival.
Dubbo Regional Council has funded the fares for its representatives and is proud to be supporting the new carrier.
