Dubbo Regional Council is pleased to officially open a Tesla Supercharger station at the Western Plains Cultural Centre in Wingewarra Street Dubbo today.

The new station will feature four (4) Supercharging bays.

Councillor Dayne Gumley said this charging station will allow the Dubbo Region to be placed on the Tesla charging map.

“We are excited to share that Western Plains Cultural Centre is a new charging site in the Tesla Supercharger network,” said Mr Gumley.

“These additions to the network of Tesla Superchargers will make the Dubbo Region attractive for Tesla owners as they can travel to and from our region and charge their vehicle when here or on their way to other locations,” he said.

Conveniently located close to the Central Business District we encourage Tesla tourists to stop by for a bite to eat, wander through the gallery and a charge

Located at the Western Plains Cultural Centre the new Tesla Superchargers will help Tesla drivers have a quick and seamless experience when traveling long distances.

Since October 2012, Tesla has installed over 12,800 Superchargers across more than 1,440

Supercharger stations around the world. There are currently 26 Supercharger sites across

Australia connecting Adelaide through to Brisbane.

The Tesla Supercharger at the Western Plains Cultural Centre is available for charge 24 hours a day seven days a week for up to 120kW.
