Eric Hill’s beloved SPOT comes to life at Dubbo Regional Theatre

One of the most-read children’s book of all time, Spot, will come to life on the stage at Dubbo Regional Theatre with puppetry, songs and puzzles perfect for little Dubbo children.

This fun show follows the loveable Spot and his friends as they go on a new adventure to visit Spot’s Dad on the farm and meet the farm animals.

But oh no! When they arrive, all the animals are lost! Can Spot and his friends find them? They might need a little help from their new friends in the audience.

With school groups and pre-schoolers travelling from all areas of Dubbo plus Dunedoo, Narromine and Coonamble for the 12noon performance, Spot will have lots of friends to help him find the lost farm animals.

We encourage you to buy your tickets now, because this performance is almost sold out. Plus Spot will need more help at 6pm to search for all the animals on the farm.

The playful puppetry and audience involvement in this 50-minute show is bound to captivate and is a great first live theatre experience for children. Suitable for ages 18 months - 7 years and their families .  The 6pm performance is a Relaxed Performance.

Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre Manager, Ms Christof says “We will be partnering with the Dubbo Branch, Macquarie Regional Library who are having Spot themed story time sessions on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 28 August and there will be a chance to win a family pass to the 6pm performance of Spot the following week.”
