Western Plains Cultural Centre - School Holiday Workshop

The Western Plains Cultural Centre is hosting free school holiday workshops for students as young as five (5) years old.

Manager of the Western Plains Cultural Centre, Andrew Glassop said the workshops have rapidly become a must-do event.

“These workshops have become very popular for residents and visitors alike looking for something fun, creative and educational for children to do,” he said.

“This April the focus is on using symbols to represent the world and recycling waste to art.

“The workshops have been designed to suit a variety of age groups, ranging from five (5) years old through to teenagers,” said Mr Glassop.

The artwork that is produced from the workshops may be entered in the upcoming Waste to Art exhibition.

All school holiday workshops are free of charge and bookings are not required.
