The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is heading cross-country with a cracking line-up of the Fest’s best! Performing at 75 venues across Australia, including our very own Dubbo Regional Theatre!

Buckle up and jump on board the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow as it heads off on the ultimate road trip, home-delivering the freshest and funniest superstars from this year’s Festival to neighbourhoods across Australia.  With over 70 stops scheduled across the nation, the Festival is eager as ever to cross state borders and break out the laughs.

From the Sunshine State to the central west and beyond, Festival favourites and newcomers hitting the Newell Highway include Brett Blake as Master of Ceremonies, Blake Freeman, Bronwyn Kuss, Frankie McNair and Lewis Garnham.

In its 24th year, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow aims to roll out the best stand up, sketch and satire across venues in all corners of the nation.

”The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is a staple in our annual season program. It’s a fun night out with lots of belly laughs. We find most people will go out to dinner beforehand and then head straight to the Theatre.  Our suggestion is to book your table for dinner head and mention you are going to the Theatre as a number of restaurants now open from 5.30 pm – if you are late to a comedy show, you may unwittingly end up with the spotlight on you and part of the act!,” said Manager of Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre, Linda Christof.

Tickets for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow can be booked through the DRTCC box office, by visiting the website, or by calling (02) 6801 4378.
