Dubbo Regional Council will host events in Dubbo and Wellington for Australia Day on Friday 26 January 2018.

Australia Day in Dubbo

The Awards will be presented at Council’s Australia Day celebrations in Victoria Park on Friday 26 January 2018. A barbecue breakfast will be served from 7.30 am and the Official Ceremony will start at 8.30 am – this includes the Mayoral address, Ambassador’s address, Citizenship Ceremony, presentation of the Australia Day awards and cutting Australia Day cake/media op for Ambassador and award winners.

The Dubbo Aquatic Leisure Centre will be open for free entry from 11am – 1pm, giving everyone a chance to cool off with a swim.

The Awards will be presented at Australia Day celebrations in Cameron Park on Friday 26 January 2018. A barbecue breakfast will be served from 9.00 am and the Official Ceremony will start at 10.30 am – this includes the Mayoral address, Ambassador’s address and presentation of the Australia Day awards. The Wellington Pool will be open from midday – 2.00 pm for free admission.
