The Dubbo Region has secured NRL premiership fixtures featuring South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2021 and 2022.

The fixture will be held at Apex Oval at 2pm on 23 May 2021 and will feature South Sydney Rabbitohs v Penrith Panthers. 

GAME DAY, INCLUDING ROAD CLOSURES, DROP OFF POINTS AND PARKING

There are multiple road closures in place, and designated parking and drop off zones for those attending the game. For more about closures, click here.

HOSPITALITY PACKAGES

South Sydney Rabbitohs, in partnership with Dubbo Regional Council, is offering hospitality packages at the upcoming game at Apex Oval on 23 May. Packages include Grandstand tickets and a food and beverage package from 12pm to 4pm.

Choose from two events, the Maas Marquee Function or the Summit Cranes Cocktail Function, featuring special guests and the chance to win a 2021 signed Rabbitohs jersey. If you are one of the lucky 1000 people who have already purchased a ticket to the Grandstand, you can purchase a food and beverage package to round-off your Rabbitohs experience in Dubbo in 2021.

1. What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 11am.

2. What time do the matches start?

At 11:20am, the NSW Cups kicks off with South Sydney taking on Penrith. At 2pm, Round 11 of the NRL kicks off, with the South Sydney Rabbitohs facing the Penrith Panthers.

3. Will there be food and alcohol available?

Full bar facilities and food will be available all day.

4. Is EFTPOS available?

There are no ATM facilities at Apex Oval. This event, going cash-less is preferred.

5. Will there be on-site parking?

There will be no parking on site - pedestrian access only. Designated parking is located at Dubbo Showground, with parking facilities opening at 10am. Limited accessible parking will be available vis Cassia Street.

6. Key conditions of entry:

Patrons must remain seated and remain in designated zones.

If seated in the general admission area, please bring a fold-up chair or blanket.

No alcohol, soft drinks or glass permitted. Bags will be checked. No eskies permitted.

Commercially produced food is not permitted.

Patrons are required to remain in family/friend groups, and practice social distancing when outside these groups.

Please use hand sanitiser frequently. For your convenience, hand sanitiser will be provided at the entry, at all food and drink stations, and at the amenities.

No smoking at Apex Oval and surrounds.

NRL conditions of entry apply including right to remove any person or persons that contravene the conditions of entry.

No pass outs permitted.

There is strictly no alcohol in the Family Zone

No pets other than assistance animals who have undertaken a Public Access Test (PAT).
