Draft Planning Agreement Policy - Solar Energy Farms
Dubbo Regional Council has developed a draft Policy for Planning Agreements associated with Solar Energy Farm developments on land within the former Wellington Local Government Area.
The role of the Policy is to provide a clear framework for Council to negotiate Planning Agreements with proponents of Solar Energy Farms in the former Wellington Local Government Area. To provide a structure for Planning Agreements and to seek a contribution from development proponents equal to $3,500 per Mega Watt generated from the development, towards community impacts associated with the Solar Energy Farm.

The draft Planning Agreement Policy – Solar Energy Farms will be on public exhibition until Friday 3 May 2019.
Written or electronic submissions are invited during the public exhibition period.

Persons have the right to remain anonymous if they so choose by refraining from submitting their personal information, however, the submission may be given less weight in the overall assessment and consideration of the draft Policy.
