Darling Street Kerb and Gutter Reconstruction
Council wishes to advise that the Darling Street Kerb and Gutter Reconstruction Project, from Wingewarra Street to Bultje Street, Dubbo, has been programmed to commence on 1 February 2021, weather permitting.
This project will include the reconstruction of the kerb and gutter, road shoulder, portions of the footpath, and installation of a new stormwater line on the western side of Darling Street, from Wingewarra Street to Bultje Street.
In preparation for these works, Council wishes to advise local businesses to please park all vehicles off of the street. Due to the nature of this work, the parking spaces on the western side of the road will be obstructed during construction. Council endeavours to maintain access to businesses during this work with works crews available onsite to help minimise the disruption.
Darling Street will be under traffic control during these works. Council will liaise with businesses in an effort to minimise the impacts of these improvement works, though Council advises businesses that there will be some disruption during the construction period.
Council acknowledges the inconvenience these works may cause, especially to local businesses. We thank you for your continued understanding during these infrastructure improvement works.
If you have any further concerns please contact Council’s Project Engineer, Matthew Grebenc, during normal office hours, on 0438 781 089.
