Independent Member – Audit and Risk Management Committee

Council is seeking nominations from interested and qualified persons who would like to be considered as an independent member of Council’s Audit and Risk Management Committee. Council’s Audit and Risk Management Committee includes two (2) independent representatives who will receive remuneration for their participation in this Committee with one of these representatives to be elected Chairperson. Current remuneration rates are $1,100 (ex GST) per meeting for the Committee Chair and $900 (ex GST) per meeting for the remaining independent member. This remuneration is fully inclusive of all costs including (but not limited to) travel, printing, preparation, attendance and follow up time. This Committee generally meets four (4) times a year.

Nominations close at 5pm Friday 3 August 2018. Nominations must be completed on the nomination form available on Council’s website, at either of Council’s Administration Buildings in Church Street, Dubbo or Nanima Cresent, Wellington or by contacting Council’s Executive Manager Governance and Internal Control, Michael Ferguson on 6801-4000.
