PUBLIC NOTICE – CAMPGROUNDS REOPEN IN TIME FOR LONG WEEKEND
Campers will now be allowed to camp for one night only at Ponto Falls and Terramungamine Reserves, with Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) staff actioning COVID-19 safety plans at the sites.
The reserves were closed in March, in order to comply with COVID-19 safety requirements, and to uphold NSW Public Health Orders. Regular cleaning of the amenities blocks will take place.
After a change to Public Health Orders, it has been decided that reserves will be opened for campers. However, stays will be permitted for one night only.
Signage has been installed, reminding campers to adhere to COVIDSafe practices such as social distancing and hand hygiene. DRC thanks campers for their patience while staff were busy deciding on a plan that would be safe and adhere to the NSW Health guidelines.
