WELLINGTON PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE LIFT

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) would like to advise the community that the new accessible Wellington Pedestrian Bridge, linking Cameron Park and Pioneer Park in Wellington, will be lifted into place, on the morning of Friday, 22 July 2022.

To lift the bridge, a large crane will mobilise to site Thursday 21 July 2022. The primary worksite will be established on the Western side of the Bell River (Pioneer Park side) and access will be heavily restricted in this area. Access on the Cameron Park side will have some restrictions and the public are asked to stay clear of the established work zone for their safety.

The lift will be completed by Friday, 22 July 2022. The ramps that allow access to the bridge will then be constructed in the weeks following.
