Wheelers Lane/Keswick Parkway Roundabout Rehabilitation
Council wishes to advise that night works will be undertaken at the Wheelers Lane/Keswick Parkway Roundabout in Dubbo, and have been programmed to commence from Sunday, 7 March 2021. These works are expected to take approximately one (1) week to complete, weather permitting. Works will occur between the hours of 7 pm and 5 am.
This project will include the excavation and reconstruction of the existing pavement in preparation for new layers of an asphaltic surface. While efforts will be made to minimise the disruption, please be aware that there will be some noise associated with this work.
These works will be completed in stages to allow for smooth movement of traffic. Due to this, segments of the roundabout, along with Potter Close and Keswick Parkway, will be under traffic control; including detours in place for continued movement around the construction area. Please see the attached map for these traffic control plans. Council will liaise with residents in an effort to minimise the impacts of these rehabilitation works, although some residents are advised to prepare for limited access throughout the construction period.
Council acknowledges the inconvenience that these works may cause, especially to local residents. We thank you for your continued understanding through these infrastructure improvement works.
If you have any further concerns, please contact Council’s Project Engineer, Jaryd Abbott, on 02 6801 4838.
