Expression of Interest - DREAM Festival

Dubbo Regional Council is calling for Expressions of Interest from cultural and community groups to run the 2024 DREAM Festival.

The DREAM Festival began in 2010 with the creation of Events Dubbo Inc, to establish a flagship event for Dubbo. Council ran the festival in 2023 in line with a resolution made by Council in 2020 that a transition plan with the DREAM Volunteer Community would be established to support the delivery of the festival event in 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and weather events, this action was completed in 2023.

In 2024 Council is seeking a community-based organisation to run the festival. Council will provide funding support of $40,000 for the group; for the coordination, planning and delivery of the event.

Pursuant to Council’s meeting held Wednesday 24 April, the deadline for Expressions of Interest has been extended to 5.00pm Thursday 2 May.
