Express Your Interest

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitable applicants who may be interested in leasing or purchasing the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets (DRLM) at Dubbo, NSW. EOI closing 2pm on Tuesday 14 May 2024.

Located on 38.92 hectares of land on the corner of the Newell Hwy and Boothenba Road approximately 5 km from Dubbo’s CBD the livestock market has grown since its establishment from a small monthly sale operation into the huge selling facility is today. The site currently features selling and holding livestock facilities with cattle selling pens together with overhead walkways and laneways, sheep selling pens and laneways, transport loaders, two weighbridges, as well as feeding and watering systems.

Future maintenance and operation of the facility is central to the EOI process.

Council is calling for EOIs for the lease or purchase of the Dubbo Regional Livestock Markets, subject to the condition that the facility must continue to be operated as an ongoing commercial concern.

Council wishes to use the EOI process to explore the potential alternatives for the operation of the livestock saleyards, including the sale or lease to operate the saleyard business on an ongoing basis.
