Precincts

Discover the Dubbo Regional Botanic Gardens. The botanic garden development began in 1999 and currently comprises of one adventure playground, one cafe and five distinctive garden spaces; Shoyoen Japanese Garden, the Sensory Garden, the Biodiversity Garden, the Oasis Valley and the Wiradjuri Garden.

The Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden is located in East Dubbo, off Coronation Drive.

OPENING HOURS

Shoyoen Japanese Garden, Sensory Garden, Biodiversity Garden and Oasis Valley Garden
Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
Weekends 9.30am - 5pm
Closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday (including Public Holiday dates).
Open 12pm - 5pm on ANZAC Day.

Wiradjuri Garden
Sunrise through Sunset

Adventure Playground
Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm
Wednesday 12pm - 8pm
Weekends 9.30am - 5pm

Botanic Gardens Cafe
Temporarily closed

COVID-19 INFORMATION

Dubbo Regional Botanic Gardens are open during standard opening hours, except for the Botanic Garden Cafe which remains closed.

For the safety and wellbeing of yourself and other visitors to the gardens, please:

  • Maintain 1.5 metre physical distance with those outside your family group
  • Uphold good hygiene practices and regular use of sanitiser available near garden entrances and Botanic Cafe at the Adventure Playground
  • QR code check in upon entry
  • Stay updated with NSW Health Orders
