TEMPORARY WATER OUTAGE - BANKSIA CRESCENT
Dubbo Regional Council wishes to advise residents of Banksia Crescent that they may experience a water outage between 10am and 2pm today, Wednesday 20 April 2022. OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE NEW ELSTON PARK AMENITIES
The installation of a new amenities unit in Elston Park, Dubbo has been completed. The new amenities unit includes 2 unisex ambulant toilets, 1 unisex accessible toilet, 1 changing space with disabled toilet which has an automatic sliding door.

SOUTH DUBBO WEIR WARNING BUOYS
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wishes to advise all recreational river users such as boaters, canoeists and kayakers that due to high river flows currently being experienced along the Macquarie River, the warning buoys upstream of the South Dubbo Weir have detached from one side of the river.

APHIDS AFFECTING MACQUARIE STREET, DUBBO
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) would like to advise the community that due to aphids attacking a large number of trees along Macquarie Street in Dubbo’s CBD, the footpaths, seats and bins in the area have been left with a sticky residue. Following the rain this residue can become slippery so caution is urged while in the area.

VEGETATION REMOVAL, WEST DUBBO
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) will be removing the shrub vegetation along the railway line fence on Thompson Street in West Dubbo in the coming weeks. The vegetation was originally planted in the mid-1990s to help screen the railway line and beautify the area.

TRAFFIC SWITCH AT INTERSECTION ON COBRA AND FITZROY STREETS
To minimise impact on motorists, preparation work for this next stage will take place at night between 6pm and 7am on Sunday 10 October, weather permitting. We will let you know in advance if we need to do any work outside these times. Traffic will be moved onto the new travel lanes from 7am Monday 11 October, weather permitting.

MACQUARIE RIVER PONTOONS
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) will reinstate the pontoon in the Macquarie River at Ollie Robbins Ovals in Dubbo, by close of business Friday 2 July 2021. The pontoon was removed in March 2021 due to moderate flood warnings following a large inflow of runoff into Burrendong Dam following widespread rainfall.
