15 Oct 2021   VEGETATION REMOVAL, WEST DUBBO
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) will be removing the shrub vegetation along the railway line fence on Thompson Street in West Dubbo in the coming weeks. The vegetation was originally planted in the mid-1990s to help screen the railway line and beautify the area.

12 Oct 2021   Temporary Road Closure of Fitzroy Street
Dubbo Regional Council in pursuance of the Roads (General) Regulations 2018 hereby gives notice that: a temporary road closure will be in place on Fitzroy Street, from the Wingewarra Street roundabout to Short Street. The temporary closure is scheduled for Sunday 24 October 2021, between 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, weather permitting.

8 Oct 2021   TRAFFIC SWITCH AT INTERSECTION ON COBRA AND FITZROY STREETS
To minimise impact on motorists, preparation work for this next stage will take place at night between 6pm and 7am on Sunday 10 October, weather permitting. We will let you know in advance if we need to do any work outside these times. Traffic will be moved onto the new travel lanes from 7am Monday 11 October, weather permitting.
26 Sep 2021   APPLICATIONS EXTENDED FOR LOCAL HERITAGE FUND
A Local Heritage Fund has been established by Council with the aid of a grant from the NSW Heritage Office. The purpose of the Fund is to provide grants to assist owners of heritage items with heritage conservation work. If your property is listed as a heritage item in the Dubbo Local Environmental Plan 2011 or Wellington Local Environmental Plan 2012, you are eligible to apply for a heritage grant.

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) advises the community of temporary disruptions to the footpath at the Boundary Road Shopping precinct, South Dubbo, from week commencing 26 July 2021. The work will include the installation of 13 lighting bollards. This work is expected to take approximately one week, weather permitting.

7 Jul 2021   CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS - SWIFT STREET AND ARTHUR STREET WELLINGTON, RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wishes to advise the Wellington community that changed traffic conditions at the intersection of Swift Street and Arthur Street will commence 5 July 2021 for approximately 3 weeks. These temporary traffic arrangements will allow work to progress on the Swift Street Reconstruction project. Pedestrian access will be maintained

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) advises the community that Fitzroy Street Dubbo, between Cobra and Bultje Street will be closed from 7pm, Tuesday 6 July 2021 until 5am, Wednesday 7 July 2021.

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) will reinstate the pontoon in the Macquarie River at Ollie Robbins Ovals in Dubbo, by close of business Friday 2 July 2021. The pontoon was removed in March 2021 due to moderate flood warnings following a large inflow of runoff into Burrendong Dam following widespread rainfall.

Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) advises users of fitness equipment at Victoria Park that it will be removed during the coming weeks. The outdoor gym equipment is at the end of its life cycle and is due for replacement under Dubbo Regional Council’s Asset Maintenance and Replacement Program.

From Wednesday 24 February, applications are open for the Bodangora Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund, Round Six. In addition to the Bodangora Community Benefit fund, community groups will be able to apply for a share in $15,000, under Round Two of Dubbo Regional Council’s Financial Assistance Program.
