13 Mar 2026 DUBBO REGIONAL COUNCIL ANNOUNCES NEW GENERAL MANAGER: Andrew Wilsmore will be the new General Manager of Dubbo Regional Council (DRC), following a decision of Council on Friday evening.

12 Mar 2026 MINOKAMO STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN: Experience Japan as part of Dubbo Regional Council’s (DRC) Sister City Exchange Program with Minokamo. Applications are now open for students aged 15 to 18 who attend high school in the DRC Local Government Area, along with adults interested in chaperoning the group.

10 Mar 2026 DUBBO LIBRARY TO HOST AUTHOR FIONA LOWE: Macquarie Regional Library will host acclaimed Australian author Fiona Lowe at the Dubbo Library for an in-conversation event on Tuesday 24 March from 4:30pm until 5:30pm.

4 Mar 2026 WHAT DO YOU THINK OF COUNCIL? IT’S TIME TO HAVE YOUR SAY: Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) is running its biennial Community Insights Survey in order to measure the community’s overall satisfaction with Council’s performance.

4 Mar 2026 COUNCIL CARES – SHARE THE DIGNITY: Dubbo Regional Council has joined the Share the Dignity Council Cares program with a period products dispenser purchased to use at community events and at Macquarie Regional Library Dubbo branch.

3 Mar 2026 EXHIBITION SHOWCASES HOMEGROUND ARTIST LINDA CHANT: HomeGround and Cowra-based artist Linda Chant is showcasing her exhibition titled Daydream at the Western Plains Cultural Centre from now till 14 June 2026.
