DUBBO PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES NOW OPEN

Dubbo Regional Council wish to advise the community that the pedestrian bridges in Dubbo have been cleared of debris, repaired and reopened to the public.

The Yabang Gee Bridge (Tamworth Street Footbridge) reopened on Friday, 2 December 2022, with Shibble Bridge reinstated for reopening this afternoon, 6 December 2022.

Both bridges were closed in August after flooding caused extensive damage.

Council crews have also removed silt from the cycleway under the Serisier Bridge and the granite path at Sandy Beach.
