On 1 July 2021 Council will be introducing a harmonised rate structure for the Dubbo Regional Council local government area. This will redistribute the way we collect revenue from rates. Everyone’s rates will be calculated based on the value of their land and their rate classification.
Council’s total rate yield for 2021/2022 has increased by 2% in accordance with the rate peg determined by IPART. Please note that individual ratepayers rates will vary as a result of the Rates Harmonisation process as indicated in the below estimate.

The proposed rates form part of Council’s 2021/2022 Draft Operational Plan with the final rates and charges for the 2021/2022 financial year to be adopted by Council in June 2021.
Therefore the final 2021/2022 rates levies may vary due to the final Council decision, along with marginal movements due to model sensitivity.
