On 1 July 2021 Council will be introducing a harmonised rate structure for the Dubbo Regional Council local government area.  This will redistribute the way we collect revenue from rates.  Everyone’s rates will be calculated based on the value of their land and their rate classification.

Council’s total rate yield for 2021/2022 has increased by 2% in accordance with the rate peg determined by IPART. Please note that individual ratepayers rates will vary as a result of the Rates Harmonisation process as indicated in the below estimate.

Use the calculator to see an estimate of how your general rates may change.

The amounts displayed are your general rates only and do not include any applicable annual service charges.

Please note the proposed 2021/2022 rates outlined in the calculator are an estimate only to provide a guide to residents of the impact of the proposed new rating structure.

The proposed rates form part of Council’s 2021/2022 Draft Operational Plan with the final rates and charges for the 2021/2022 financial year to be adopted by Council in June 2021.

Therefore the final 2021/2022 rates levies may vary due to the final Council decision, along with marginal movements due to model sensitivity.

The amounts do not include any applicable pensioner rebates.
