MACQUARIE RIVER CORRIDOR NORTH AND SOUTH PRECINCT MASTERPLANNING FAQS
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wishes to advise residents that as per the Council resolution of from the Notice of Motion: Land use consent in grant applications at the September 2022 Ordinary Meeting of Council, staff have developed and published a series of seven (7) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). The FAQs aim to clarify some of the mixed messages that have been circulating in the community regarding Macquarie River Corridor North and South Precincts, specifically Regand Park in the South precinct.
The FAQs have been published in the PhotoNews and the Daily Liberal Newspapers as full page advertisements on September 29 2022 and are also available online via www.dubbo.nsw.gov.au/macquarierivermasterplan
These questions may expand as the consultation progresses.
The community is reminded the online survey that provides key insights as part of the Master Plan’s community consultation process will close on Tuesday October 4 2022.
Following the closing of the online survey on Tuesday 4 October, Community Design Workshops will be held on Tuesday 11 October:
- Workshop 1a from 12pm to 1pm (South Precinct) at Victoria Park No.1 Clubhouse
- Workshop 1b from 1pm to 2pm (North Precinct) at Victoria Park No.1 Clubhouse
- Workshop 2a from 5.30pm to 6.30pm (South Precinct) at Victoria Park No.1 Clubhouse
- Workshop 2b from 6.30pm to 7.30pm (North Precinct) at Victoria Park No.1 Clubhouse
