Central Orana Regional Drought Resilience Plan
Dubbo Regional Council and Narromine Shire Council, in partnership with the Australian Government and NSW Government, have developed the Central Orana Regional Drought Resilience Plan. The plan is a community-led roadmap to prepare for and respond to future droughts.
The plan is focussed on:
- Safeguarding community wellbeing
- Supporting sustainable farming and business
- Preserving natural resources
- Strengthening local knowledge and partnerships
By learning from previous droughts and planning ahead, this plan aims at building a stronger, more adaptable future for our region.
