Applications are now open for local emerging artists to take part in the 2025 Dubbo Art Fair (DAF) held in the Western Plains Cultural Centre (WPCC) from 13 – 14 September 2025.
The Dubbo Art Fair is the biggest art fair this side of the Blue Mountains, now in its fifth year the event is a great opportunity for local emerging artists to showcase and sell their artworks to the community.
“This event showcased over 40 local artists last year in the Western Plains Cultural Centre and showcases the thriving creative sector of the community,” Dubbo Regional Council Curator, Kent Buchanan said.
Local artists must reside in the Dubbo Region Local Government Area (LGA) or an LGA that adjoins the Dubbo Regional Council border to be able to apply.
Stall sites are free for artists and allow artists to sell their artworks direct to the public over the weekend.
