LAST CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY ON DRAFT BUDGET
Time is running out to have your say on what Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) has proposed for the draft 2025/2026 budget, operational plan and associated documents.
“We really want to hear from the community about what is important to them, along with what they would like to see Council focus on in the coming 12 months,” Dubbo Regional Council Mayor Josh Black said.
“To date, Council has received a number of submissions offering valuable insight into the community’s priorities and feedback on the key focus areas outlined in the draft budget and operational plan.”
Submissions don’t need to be complex, simply share your thoughts about what you support or would like to see happen in the next 12 months via Council’s YourSay website.
To help breakdown the draft budget and operational plan, Council has been providing digestible and user-friendly information via social media and the YourSay website. This information has been specifically designed to help the community consume the information about the draft budget and operational plan more easily.
“As a Council our focus is on the core business activities such as reconstruction and renewals of roads, water infrastructure, parks and sporting facilities.”
“I would really encourage the community to visit the YourSay website to see what is proposed for the upcoming 12 months and have their say so that Councillors can make an informed decision based on these submissions,” Clr Black said.
The last chance to have your say on the draft 2025/2026 budget and associated documents is by 9am on Monday 2 June 2025.

You can also view hard copies of all the documents at Council’s Customer Experience Centres in both Dubbo and Wellington and the Macquarie Regional Library branches in Dubbo and Wellington.
