ROAD RESEALING IN MONTEFIORES, WELLINGTON, POSTPONED
Dubbo Regional Council (DRC) wishes to advise motorists and residents in Montefiores, Wellington, that resealing of the road surface following the installation of the pipeline has been postponed due to inclement weather.
It is expected the road sealing in this area, scheduled for 22 August, will now take place week commencing 5 September 2022, and will take approximately three weeks to complete, weather permitting; traffic control will be in place for the duration of the work.
The 9 kilometre pipeline project connects new bores in the Montefiores area with the water treatment plant which will provide water security in times of severe drought.
Council appreciates the understanding of the community during this time.
